Design Process
Discovery
This UX Case starts with discovery. It’s all about interviewing potential users to understand what the users need. Discovery is all about WHY.
User Research
Actually, this UX Case aims to revamp the homepage based on a brief. However, I will do user research to learn more about users. This user research has the purpose… to find out what users know about Anteraja. The survey method is a quick and relatively easy way to get data about users and potential users.
Here’s Persona of this UX Case…
I use Proto-Personas in this UX Case Study!
I conducted quantitative research using a survey method that was completed by 5 participants. The first thing I ask is, do they know about Anteraja?
The result is 40% say that they don’t know about the Anteraja.
Here are the main key takeaways from the user research:
- Respondents don’t know about service are provided by Anteraja, because they usually use the services provided by the seller, which is regular.
- Respondents don’t know the usability and benefits of using Anteraja applications.
DEFINE
The Define stage will help gather great ideas and be able to understand how to use them effectively. After the user research process was completed and gained some insight. I define the following points of view:
IDEATE
Ideation is the third phase and it’s all about generating ideas.
Concept Model
To understand more about applications, also to find ideas about the mobile app. I began with the concept model.
Low Fidelity Design
By now I have already gathered enough information to get started with the wireframes.
UI Design
Time to create the personality the app is going to have. According to the brief “please consist Anteraja branding colors # ed0677 and #ffcb05”. Here’s the Homepage High-Fidelity Design of Anteraja App.
Prototype
The last stage in this UX case should be validated. However, because of the brief of the UX case only revamp home page of Anteraja App. Then there’s no interaction in this UX case :(
Actually, I wanted to make it. But, because I suddenly got a task from my office. Even though I already submitted a resign letter :) So… this’s the result of revamp homepage of Anteraja Application.
Check it here!
Conclusion
This UX Case has successfully found the user's problems and make a solution to those problems. The problem is the user doesn’t know about Anteraja. So, the solution is to make a feature on the mobile app for users to read and learn information about Anteraja.
In accordance with the brief on this UX Case “Revamp Anteraja app’s homepage design with your own design style and taste”. So, there’ is no interaction for the prototyping and usability testing in this UX Case.
Additional
Also, answer the question in this UX Case: List all the things that you think it could be improved from our order process.
Based on the user research on this UX Case, I have an assumption for improving Anteraja order process. Here’s my assumption:
- One of the characteristics of users is they don’t want to be difficult in doing something. As well as when they want to send the product. That’s why Anteraja needs to move and grow with fast. Especially to increase the usability of the mobile application to accommodate the wishes of these users.
These assumptions can be true or false, so the validation process needs to be done. As a UI/UX Designer, it’s my job to do that. So… Please hired me :D
Actually I still have a lot of assumptions and innovations to make Anteraja even better. But I cannot mention it one by one at this time, so I hope you can hire me and let us work together to make Anteraja better than competitors :)
